Quaint little place on Hwy 36 and Hwy 80 in Forest MS just a couple of miles off the freeway. Lunch Buffet is one of the best around. Lots if veggies and meats excellent wait staff nice customers.

Garden Patch is a good hole in the wall non-franchise Southern restaurant. The food is authentic made with fresh ingredients. Everything is homemade and you can tell. Excellent all you can eat. The desserts are great. All in all this is a good place to stop and get your Soul food fix.

Food was good. Ribs were tender. Customer svc was nice but a little slow at times.

This is a great place for true southern food. The fried chicken was flavorful and juicy with a nice crunch and taste on the outside. Even better was the selection of vegetables, fried okra, stewed tomatoes with okra, field peas, collard greens, rutabaga and baby limas beans just like my Grandma used to make. They even had deserts but I was to full to try them. Everything was self serve but the tea which the waitress was constantly topping off. All this was only $11.50 before tax. You can't eat better anywhere.

Wow, where do I begin. This restaurant had the feel of being right at home. My father suggested it and I agreed to visit the place with him. I was weary at first but let me tell you, all of my worries were digested rapidly haha. For a good meal and a home like feel one can't go wrong dining here.

If you're in Forrest or passing by around lunch, stop here and eat. Not far off the interstate and totally worth it. Great food. Highly recommend

If you find yourself near Forest during lunchtime, don't miss the Garden Patch. Ms. Nancy's buffet lunch has plenty of vegetable options, fried and baked chicken, and home-cooked desserts. Each weekday features a special meat for lunch: hamburger steak Tues, smoked ribs and chicken Thurs (excellent!), and fried catfish Fridays. Finish with a little hurricane choc cake or peach cobbler. ❤❤❤
